One of the largest National Guards in the nation, the Pennsylvania Army National Guard has taken part in every conflict from the American Revolution to the War on Terror. Pennsylvania is even nicknamed "The Keystone State" after its original Guard division (now the 28th). The Pennsylvania Guard is the 6th largest employer in the state, and its Soldiers are always ready to serve and defend freedom.
